It will become increasingly important for society to realize technologies for capturing and converting of atmospheric CO\u2082 and storing it underground, as well as technologies for harvesting and fully utilizing the sunlight energy.<br \/>\nThis center will play a role as a comprehensive interface between basic research, application development, and social implementation, focusing on research and development of CO\u2082 cycle systems.
