\nThe International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (WPI-I\u00b2CNER), Kyushu University, will host the 2022 I2CNER Annual Symposium \u201cCarbon management including Negative Emission Technologies\u201d on January 25, 2022 (Japan).<\/p>\n

CO\u2082 management, starting with CO\u2082 capture directly from the air, followed by CO\u2082 conversion and storage, has become an urgent issue to be solved worldwide. Within this framework, in this year\u2019s I\u00b2CNER annual symposium, we wish to explore the carbon management technologies for capturing CO\u2082 in the atmosphere, chemically converting the captured CO\u2082, using it as carbon resources, safely storing it underground, and effectively using light as an energy source in these processes.
